INDICATORS: dollar opens the week in decline, quoted at R$ 4.89
The US dollar fell by 0.40%, compared to the last close. With that, the currency opened this Monday (12) quoted at R$ 4.89 for buying and selling. This is the lowest recorded value of the currency in a year, amid positive data from the Brazilian economy.
The Euro started the day quoted at BRL 5.25 for buying and selling, according to data from the European Central Bank. The currency has remained stable since the last close.
The Ibovespa, in turn, opened another day up 1.33% and broke through to 117,000 points, at 117,019 points. This is the highest Ibovespa opening level of 2023.
In June, the index opened higher, daily. This high is favored by economic factors and the expectation of cutting interest rates with the low inflation.
