Petrobras breaks gasoline and diesel S10 production record in June

Petrobras broke monthly production records for gasoline and diesel S10, in June, as reported this Tuesday (11), the company. Of gasoline alone, 2.01 billion liters were produced, the best result since 2014. The production of diesel S10 reached 2.11 billion liters, surpassing the previous record set in May of this year.

Sales, according to Petrobras, accompanied the increase in production. In June, sales registered an increase, compared to the same period last year, of 26% in gasoline, 2.9% in S10 diesel and 5.7% in aviation kerosene.

The Total Utilization Factor (FUT) of Petrobras’ refineries in the second quarter reached 93%, according to the company, the best result since 2015. The FUT considers the volume of oil processed and the reference load of refineries, that is, their operational capacity, respecting the design limits of the equipment, the safety requirements and the quality of the derivatives produced.

In Petrobras’ evaluation, the results reveal the increase in sales in the domestic market and the strategy adopted by Petrobras to invest in refining, “aiming to guarantee the fulfillment of its commercial commitments with reliability, operational availability and profitability of its units”, it says in a note .
