Ibovespa is up 1.09% and starts Monday (6) at 128,508 points

The Ibovespa (Brazilian stock exchange index) rose 1.09% and starts the first trading session of the week with 128,508 points. Analysts believe this reflects the lower-than-expected performance of the North American labor market in April. With the US economy less heated and prospects of a future interest rate cut there, investments in risky assets and emerging countries, such as Brazil, become more advantageous.

Azul (AZUL 4), Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) and Yduqs (YDUQS PART ON ED NM) presented the three main highs of the last closing: 7.78%, 7.53% and 6.87%, respectively.

The biggest drops were recorded by Petrobras (PETR3) and Prio (PRIO3), which fell 1.59% and 1.41%, respectively.

The volume traded on the Brazilian stock exchange exceeded R$28.2 billion.

Data from the Brazilian stock exchange can be consulted on the B3 website.
