Average pork prices closed stable again
Pork prices remained stable early this Monday (5), with the kilo of special pork carcass maintained at R$11.70 in São Paulo. Only Rio Grande do Sul saw a price increase for the kilo of live pig, to R$7.20. The other monitored states remained stable. This is the case of Santa Catarina, Paraná, São Paulo and Minas Gerais, whose prices vary between R$7.40 and R$7.97 per kilo.
The price of beef cattle started the day on the rise, with the arroba costing R$233.15 in São Paulo. The kilos of frozen and chilled chicken are also trading on the rise, at R$7.05 and R$7.30, in the reference regions of Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.
