Coffee on an uptrend
On Tuesday (24), a 60-kilo bag of Arabica coffee costs R$1,487.93 in the city of São Paulo, up 1.9%. Robusta coffee also registers an even greater increase, of 2.8% compared to the last closing price, and a 60-kilo bag, net price, in cash, is sold at R$1,509.99 for collection in the vicinity of the producing region of Colatina and São Gabriel da Palha, in Espírito Santo.
For crystal sugar, in São Paulo, the price rose to R$144.30. On the coast of São Paulo, the average price, without taxes, of a 50-kilo bag fell by 0.5% and is quoted at R$160.19.
The 60 kg bag of corn rose 0.79% and is being traded at R$62.69 for the reference region of Campinas (SP).
