Dollar falls and closes last trading session at R$5.45

The commercial dollar ended the last trading session down, quoted at R$5.45. The result came amid the announcement of additional stimulus by China. As a result, the Brazilian currency also benefited.

The dollar had previously risen at the beginning of the week. Among the reasons that could have contributed to this scenario was a possible link with frequent fiscal adjustments that Brazil has been undergoing and with yet another recent announcement of cuts and contingencies to eliminate the deficit.

The commercial euro, in turn, fell by 0.74%, quoted at R$6.10. With the real performing better, the Brazilian currency rose by nearly 0.34%, against the Chilean peso, for example.

The data is from the company Morningstar.
