An arroba of beef costs R$ 291.80, this Monday (7), in São Paulo, with prices rising at the last closing date. According to Cepea/USP researchers, there is a reduction in the price difference for arroba in the state in relation to other regions, mainly in Mato Grosso do Sul.
For chicken, the last closure was stability. At wholesalers in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado, a kilo of frozen chicken costs R$7.41. Chilled chicken costs R$7.55.
The price of special pork carcasses also remained stable and a kilo costs R$12.94 in Greater São Paulo, while live pigs are traded at R$8.96 in Minas Gerais and R$8.21 in Rio Grande do Sul .
