Ibovespa: week begins with positive results for the stock exchange
The week started with good results for the Brazilian stock exchange, which closed this Monday at 131 thousand points, up 0.78%. This was the biggest advance for Ibovespa since the end of September, when on the 26th, it closed up 1.08%.
The positive result can be attributed to the release of the indicator considered the preview of GDP, the IBC-Br, which, contrary to the stability expected by the market, surprised with positive data, increasing by 0.23%.
Among the shares that closed higher this Monday (14) are Petrobras, with an increase of 0.24% and the financial sector, with gains in banks and B3 — plus 1.78%.
Due to the drop in commodities, such as iron ore, Vale closed down 0.32%, going against the domestic market.
