Ibovespa closes in decline, pressured by declines in Vale and Petrobras shares
The Brazilian stock exchange index (Ibovespa) closed the last trading session down 0.22%, quoted at 130,499 points. The result was mainly driven by declines in Vale’s common shares, which fell 0.35%. Those from Petrobras reduced by 0.54%.
The biggest drops of the day were due to DTCOM shares, 11.01%; and ALLIAR, 8.82%. The biggest increases were from ATOMPAR, 63.31%; and RECRUSUL, 27.97%.
The total volume traded on B3 was over R$40 billion, among more than 3.5 million trades.
