Ibovespa rises 1.74%, driven by Petrobras

The Brazilian stock exchange index (Ibovespa) ended the last session at 129,126 points, after an increase of 1.74%.
The result was driven, among other factors, by the significant appreciation of Petrobras shares.
Among other increases of the day, the shares of Lojas Americanas and Oi stand out, 14.78% and 9.77%, respectively.
The biggest drops were recorded by Mercantil Financeira, 12.66%; and Metalfrio, 7.91%.
The total volume traded on B3 was R$22 billion, among 3.7 million trades.
