Dollar closes with a subtle retreat, but still above R$6
Following the downward movement, the dollar ended the last session with a slight drop of 0.13%, being quoted at R$6.04.
The American currency depreciated, driven by the external scenario, following the release of weak data on the services sector and job creation in the United States. The ADP National Employment Report revealed that the United States created 146 thousand new jobs in the private sector in November, a number below what economists expected, which was 150 thousand.
There was also a decline in the US services purchasing manager index (PMI), which went from 56 in October to 52.1 last month.
The commercial euro fell 0.04%, trading at R$6.35.
