Dollar ends down 0.60%
Following the downward movement, the dollar ended the last session once again slightly down, 0.60%, quoted at R$6.01. This is the fifth time in a row that the American currency has closed above R$6.

In the domestic scenario, investors reacted to the progress of the spending cut project in the National Congress, which may have been a factor in the recovery of the real against the dollar. The progress of the package occurred because the Chamber approved urgent requests for two government projects, which speeds up the processing of the proposals.

In the external scenario, there was a reaction to new data on the job market in the United States. Unemployment benefit claims increased by 9 thousand, jumping to 224 thousand, on a seasonally adjusted basis, in the week ending November 30.

The commercial euro closed the day with a slight increase, 0.07%, quoted at R$6.36.
