On the rise, dollar closes last session at R$ 6.08
The US dollar closed the last session at R$6.08, after rising 0.18%. The euro closed at R$6.42.
In the assessment of financial market analysts, the loss of value of the Brazilian currency reacted to the worsening of inflation expectations for the coming years, published by the Central Bank’s Focus Bulletin.
Another factor that contributed to the devaluation of the real was the decision of the Minister of the Federal Supreme Court, Flávio Dino, to have rejected the request for reconsideration from the Federal Attorney General’s Office on parts of the decision that authorized the resumption of payment for parliamentary amendments.
