Dollar ends session down 0.58%, quoted at R$ 6.04
The dollar closed the last session down 0.58%, quoted at R$6.04.
The result came in light of investors’ reaction to November’s IPCA data. Even with a slowdown in relation to December, the data came in above expectations.
As a result, there was an increase in expectations for a possible increase in the Selic rate in the Central Bank’s next monetary policy decision, scheduled for this Wednesday (11).
The euro, in turn, closed the session at R$6.36.
