Dollar closes last session on the rise, at R$ 6.05
The dollar ended the last session on a high, quoted at R$6.05, despite intervention in the spot exchange market. The increase was around 0.40%.
In total, nine proposals were accepted, with a total of US$845 million. The operation took place one day after the Central Bank also intervened and provided US$4 billion in the spot market.
Over the last week, the dollar accumulated a fall of 0.6%. The euro, in turn, closed the last trading session at R$6.35.
