Dollar closes last trading session stable, after reaching R$ 6.20
The dollar ended the last trading session stable, at R$6.09, after fluctuating considerably throughout Tuesday (17). The American currency in cash reached its highest nominal value, at R$6.20.
Even though it distanced itself from the day’s highs, the dollar turned negative after statements by Mayor Arthur Lira that the tax reform regulation and the tax package bill would be put to a vote.
The euro, in turn, closed at around R$6.40.
