60-kilo bag of corn achieves stable prices
At the last closing price, a 60-kilo bag of corn cost R$59.20, stable, in Campinas (SP). However, surveys by Cepea/USP show that prices are trending upward in the Brazilian market, due to the lower supply from sellers and the dollar’s appreciation against the real.
The prices of 60-kilo bags of Arabica and Robusta coffee rose by more than 1.00%. Arabica coffee costs R$1,454.50 and Robusta, R$1,307.50.
White crystal sugar prices fell slightly at the last closing in the city of São Paulo (SP), where the price of a 50-kilo bag is R$131.35. In Santos, the price is R$128.95.
