Arroba of fat cattle costs R$236.30 in São Paulo
The price of beef cattle costs R$236.30 per arroba in São Paulo, a price increase since the last closing price. According to researchers at Cepea/USP, there has been a decrease in the price difference for beef cattle in the state compared to other regions, especially in Mato Grosso do Sul.
For chicken, the last closing price was stable. In wholesalers in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado, a kilo of frozen chicken costs R$7.17. Chilled chicken costs R$7.20.
The price of special pork carcasses has risen and the kilo costs R$12.75 in Greater São Paulo, while live pigs are sold at R$8.97 in Minas Gerais and R$7.96 in Rio Grande do Sul.
