Average price of beef cattle rose last closing
The price of a beef cattle arroba in São Paulo is R$234.75, a price increase since the last closing price. According to researchers from Cepea/USP, there has been a decrease in the price difference for the arroba in the state in relation to other regions, mainly in Mato Grosso do Sul.
For chicken, the last closing price was stable. In wholesalers in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado, a kilo of frozen chicken costs R$7.20. Chilled chicken costs R$7.40.
The price of special pork carcasses has risen and the kilo costs R$12.80 in Greater São Paulo, while live pigs are sold at R$8.95 in Minas Gerais and R$7.95 in Rio Grande do Sul.
