Average price of beef cattle rose last closing
The price of beef cattle costs R$235.50 per arroba in São Paulo, a price increase since the last closing price. According to researchers at Cepea/USP, there has been a decrease in the price difference for beef cattle in the state compared to other regions, especially in Mato Grosso do Sul.
For chicken, the latest closing saw a drop in prices. In wholesalers in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado, a kilo of frozen chicken costs around R$7.15. Chilled chicken costs R$7.20.
The price of special pork carcasses remained stable and the kilo costs R$12.80 in Greater São Paulo, while live pigs are sold at R$8.97 in Minas Gerais and R$7.95 in Rio Grande do Sul.
