Bahia: credits of up to 100% will be offered to agribusiness

Exclusive conditions to expand the offer of credit to agribusiness will be offered to clients of the Bahia State Development Agency (Desenbahia. Financing can reach up to 100% for investment projects. Special financing conditions for the isolated acquisition of machinery, equipment and vehicles will also be available during the 2023 Bahia Farm Show.

The president of the Union of Economists, Carlos Eduardo Oliveira, explains that the offer of credit gives farmers access to mechanisms that facilitate and improve the production of their products.

“The offer of credit always improves performance in the agribusiness sector, because the more credit available on the market, it will facilitate access to producers and agribusiness personnel, to be able to expand and improve the conditions for planting, harvesting, with new machines, new equipment, new technologies”, he emphasizes.

According to the government of Bahia, the event has historical importance in the commercial performance of Desenbahia, present in all 16 editions, with the mark of being one of the leading financial institutions in attracting financing. In the last five editions, which took place between 2016 to 2019 and 2022, more than R$ 1.4 billion in investments were raised with proposals of interest for funding from the Development Agency.
