Beef prices are cheaper
The price of fat cattle arroba started this Tuesday (18) at R$ 221.50 in the state of São Paulo. According to Cepea/USP, there are cuts of meat that are cheaper on the market, especially those related to more noble meats, where there is less demand.
Pig prices have risen again, with exports booming. Special pork carcasses are traded at R$10.50/kilo, wholesale in Greater São Paulo. A kilo of live pig is sold at R$6.40 in Rio Grande do Sul and Santa Catarina. In Minas Gerais, the price reaches R$7.30.
The upward trend also occurred for a kilo of chilled and frozen chicken, which are traded at R$7.15 and R$7.40, in the reference regions of Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.
