Caixa will finance properties worth up to R$350,000 through the Minha Casa, Minha Vida Program

For families in Tiers 1 and 2, with an income of up to R$4,400, the property value limit starts to vary between R$190,000 and R$264,000, depending on the location.

Another measure of the new Minha Casa, Minha Vida is the value of the subsidy. The maximum discount increased from up to R$47,500 to up to R$55,000. The Program also brought a reduction: in the interest rate for families with monthly income of up to R$ 2.0 thousand. There will be an interest rate reduction of 0.25 percent regardless of where you are in the country. In the North and Northeast regions, the rate increased from 4.25% pa to 4.00% pa, and in the other regions, from 4.50% pa to 4.25% pa

Track 1, of the Program with FGTS resources, previously intended for families with income of up to R$ 2,400, now includes families with income of up to R$ 2,640, which allows more people to have access financing and discounts with FGTS resources.

CAIXA’s Housing Vice-President, Inês Magalhães, emphasizes the importance of the Program in providing decent housing for families. “Housing is central to people’s lives. Housing interferes with the quality of life, the quality of health, whether the child has a home, a space where he can study. There are several areas of families’ lives that are affected by adequate housing”, she reinforced.
