Construction cost has inflation of 0.85% in June

The National Construction Cost Index – M (INCC-M), measured by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), recorded inflation of 0.85% in June this year. The rate is higher than that observed in May (0.40%), but lower than that found in June 2022 (2.81%). 


With the result, the INCC-M accumulates a rate of 2.19% in the year and 4.29% in 12 months, according to the FGV.
The rise in inflation from May to June was driven by labor, which had a price increase of 1.81% in June compared to 0.75% in May.
Materials and equipment had deflation (price drop) of 0.15% in June, a more intense fall than that observed in May (-0.06%). Services had inflation of 0.18% in June, below the 0.64% of May.
