Deadline open for CAIXA to receive proposals from companies and public entities for Minha Casa, Minha Vida
As of this Monday, July 3, CAIXA will start receiving proposals from companies and government entities for Track 1 of the Minha Casa, Minha Vida program, which uses resources from the Residential Leasing Fund, the FAR. Proposals can be submitted by Public Entities and companies in the civil construction sector through the page atenderhabitacao.caixa.gov.br.

CAIXA’s vice-president of Housing, Inês Magalhães, provides more details on the new stage of the program. “We are in this new phase of Minha Casa, Minha Vida, wanting better located land. We are going to build better developments so that we have the lowest-income population more inserted in the city, where the social facilities already exist, the infrastructure already exists”, she said.

After sending the material, CAIXA will evaluate the proposal, the documentation and inspect the land to confirm that the urban specifications have been met. Once this information is validated, the proposals will be forwarded to the Ministry of Cities for the publication of a framework Ordinance. The program’s goal is to hire two million homes by 2026.

The Minha Casa Minha Vida Program was relaunched by the Federal Government in February this year. Level 1 of the program is aimed at families with a gross monthly income of up to R$2,640.00. CAIXA recommends that Public Entities prepare themselves to establish or update the local housing register.

To participate in the program, at the suggestion of the municipality, the state government or the Federal District, the candidate must seek the corresponding public entity to obtain information, and the public entity registers the candidate in the local Housing Register.

The candidate must also go to the city hall to update or register his personal information and that of his family in CADÚNICO.

“I think this complies with a determination, a government guideline, which is to reduce inequalities, generating development”, concluded CAIXA’s Vice President of Housing, Inês Magalhães.
