The dollar began this Friday (17) quoted at R$5.13, after closing the last trading session down 0.13%. Over the last day there was little fluctuation in the exchange rate.
The result is a reflection of investors’ caution in the face of the fall in Petrobras shares and the scenario of uncertainty regarding the change of command at the state-owned company.
The result was also influenced by investor uncertainty regarding the possibility of interest rate cuts in the United States.
The euro, in turn, started the day at R$5.57.
