Dollar closes last session on the rise and goes to R$5.81
The dollar closed the last session on another high day, quoted at R$5.81. The currency advanced 0.75%. The result was driven by the global tension of escalating conflict between Russia and Ukraine.
This Thursday (21), Russia launched an intercontinental ballistic missile against Ukraine.
In the domestic scenario, another day of waiting for the announcement of the new spending cut package by the federal government, which did not happen. The expectation is that the package will bring more balance to public accounts.
