Dollar closes last session on the rise, at R$ 5.77
The dollar ended the last session on a high, quoted at R$5.77. The increase was 0.36%. The euro, in turn, closed at R$6.12. The result was driven by external geopolitical issues.
An example is the announcement that Russia has updated its nuclear doctrine and now considers that any aggression by a non-nuclear country, but with the participation of a nuclear-armed nation, is a joint attack against Russia.
In addition to this point, another pressure suffered came from the gaps in relation to the size of fiscal adjustments, which still weigh on the Brazilian currency.
