Dollar opens trading session quoted at lows, at R$4.97
The American currency opens trading this Tuesday (23) at R$4.97 for sale and R$4.97 for purchase. The quotation represents a drop of 0.35% for both currency trading modes.
That is, there is an appreciation movement of the real against the US currency.
The euro opened the day at R$5.37 for buying and R$5.37 for selling.
The Argentine currency opened the quotation at BRL 0.021 for purchase and BRL 0.021 also for sale.
The Ibovespa stock exchange, in turn, fell 0.38% and opened the day at 110,322 points. Companies called blue chips (shares with the highest market value on the stock exchange, such as Petrobras, Ambev, Cemig, Itaú Unibanco and Vale) negatively pressured the index, which closed the previous day in decline, after advancing in recent weeks.
The total financial volume on the Stock Exchange adds up to R$18.6 billion.
