Dollar rises 0.19% and closes at R$5.46
The commercial dollar starts this Tuesday (1) up 0.19%, quoted at R$ 5.46. The euro, in turn, is quoted at R$6.07 — a slight drop compared to the last close.
The slight rise in the dollar may be related to the Ptax dispute — which is the rate that serves as a reference for the settlement of future exchange contracts. With a higher volume of trades, there was also more volatility. The currency fluctuated a lot during yesterday, ending up closing slightly higher.
The data is from the company Morningstar.
