Dollar starts the week quoted at R$5.10, after falling 0.55%
The commercial dollar starts this Monday (20) priced at R$ 5.10. At the last close, the US currency fell 0.55% against the real. Analysts believe that the appreciation of commodities, such as iron ore, which tends to favor the exchange rate of exporting countries, such as Brazil, and the rise in future interest rates contributed to the fall of the dollar.
The euro also depreciated against the Brazilian currency. It closed the last trading session quoted at R$5.54, after rising 0.49%.
The tourism dollar fell 0.28% — and starts the week costing R$5.32.
