EPAMIG starts selling coffee from the 2022/2023 harvest
The Agricultural Research Company of Minas Gerais (Epamig) started marketing qualified coffee seeds in the year 2023. Seeds are made available especially during the harvest period, between May and August.

An agronomist and EPAMIG researcher, Vanessa Figueiredo explains that to sell the grain, all you have to do is get in touch with the experimental fields.

“Seeds are now available during the harvest period, all the producer needs to do is get in touch to find out about availability,” said the engineer.

The materials are provided by the experimental fields of Três Pontas, Machado and São Sebastião do Paraíso (South of Minas) and Patrocínio (Alto Paranaíba) and meet the requirements of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply (Mapa), such as a minimum germination of 70 %, absence of live insects and 98% purity.

Orders can be placed at the units themselves. Seeds can be delivered in person or by post.
