Fat cattle arroba begins Thursday (23) in decline
The price of live cattle continues the downward trend observed in May. At the last closing, the value of the product fell 0.62% and now costs R$223.70 in São Paulo.
The value of a kilo of frozen chicken fell 1.4% and, therefore, the product is traded at R$ 7.02, this Thursday (23). Chilled chicken is also cheaper. A kilo of the product had a 0.68% drop in price. It is priced at R$7.29. For both, the reference regions are Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.
The price of pork carcasses remains the same. In wholesalers in Greater São Paulo, a kilo is traded at R$ 10.09. The value of live pigs has not changed either. In Minas Gerais, a kilo of animal protein, in cash, costs R$7.27. In Paraná, R$6.49, and in Rio Grande do Sul, R$6.27.
