Government proposes 9% salary adjustment for civil servants, says category
Fonacate representatives met right this moment with members of the federal authorities to debate the 2023 wage adjustment.
Final month, the federal government supplied civil servants a readjustment of seven.9%. The classes rejected and offered a counterproposal of 13.5%.
After this Friday’s assembly, the president of Fonacate, Rudinei Marques, mentioned that the federal government raised the proportion to eight.4% and, after stress from civil servants, raised it to 9%. The 43% readjustment of the meals allowance was maintained, from R$458 to R$658.
“The federal government will ship us the formalization of this proposal on Monday in order that we are able to take it to our bases, when they are going to approve or not the federal government’s proposal. We perceive that we did our greatest, we stretched the rope to the restrict. Now, the premise is the choice to approve or not,” mentioned Marques. Fonacate is made up of 36 associates and represents over 200,000 public servants.
For Marques, the negotiation was affordable and partially addresses the “inflationary erosion to which wages have been subjected” in recent times.
