Government releases BRL 200 million in credit for Plano Safra 22/23
For three years now, Gildo Dias has been working as an assistant to rural producers in the Federal District and tells how the credit line is used. “It takes government money and works with government money on top of it. And there are also lines of credit for smaller rural producers. Usually they take it to finance the machinery, the tractor. The interest rate depends a lot on the program he will take”.
For economist Alexandre Azzoni, some producers complain about the lack of resources for the sector, which is why Azzoni reinforces the importance of supplementing funds. Specialist João Batista Júnior also sees the positive effects of the Crop Plan and explains that the resource stimulates the entire production process. From planting, during production to the positive reflection also on the country’s economy. “With this line of credit, rural producers can increasingly increase their business and thus generate even more profit for Brazil’s GDP, produce more wealth. So, everyone ends up benefiting from this”.
However, the specialist also reinforces that the rates are still high and the value given is low, contemplating fewer producers than would be ideal and warns about the importance of using this resource well in the correct way, with the guidance of a technician in the sector to that can make this investment give a more assertive return.
