Ibovespa closes down 0.58% and starts Wednesday at 123.7 points
The Ibovespa (Brazilian stock exchange index) fell 0.58% and closed Tuesday (28) at 123.7 thousand points. The rise in American personal consumption inflation interfered with the result. With the price of ore falling, shares in the mining company Vale fell 2.16%. Even with the rise in Petrobras (2.13%), the Bovespa index closed lower.
The main increases were registered by MRV (MRV3) and Petrobras (PETR4). Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) and Azul (AZUL4) had the biggest declines.
