Ibovespa closes lower again this Thursday (17)
Unlike the international scenario, where the stock markets performed well, the Ibovespa closed this Thursday (17) down 0.73%, at 130 thousand points.
The European Central Bank cut interest rates for the third time in a row, now at 0.25 pp. In the United States, not only did the stock markets rise, but the Dow Jones index closed at a record high.
Here in Brazil, the announcement of the death of the Hamas leader caused oil prices to rise, yet Petrobras shares closed the day down 0.75%. The most significant drop was with Vale, which has been suffering from the decline in iron ore. The company closed down 2.53%.
Highlights include Klabin, with an increase of 1.08% and Suzano with gains of 1.01%.
