Ibovespa drops 0.46% and starts Monday (13) at 127,599 points
The Ibovespa (Brazilian stock exchange index) starts this Monday (13) with 127,599 points, after a drop of 0.46% in the last trading session of last week. Analysts believe this reflects the outlook for resilient inflation in the United States, which could lead the central bank there to be more cautious in cutting interest rates. This makes US Treasury bonds more attractive to investors.
Alpargatas (ALPA4), Aliansce Sonae (ALOS3) and Rumo (RAIL3) presented the three main increases in the last trading session: 3.31%, 2.96% and 2.54%.
The biggest drops were recorded by Magazine Luiza (MGLU3) and Localiza (RENT3), which fell 7.78% and 5.15%, respectively.
The volume traded on the Brazilian stock exchange this Friday exceeded R$23.2 billion.
