Ibovespa drops due to Copom’s movement around the basic interest rate

The Brazilian stock exchange index, Ibovespa, fell in the last trading session and began this Friday (10) at 128,188 points. The result came amid investor aversion after Copom’s decision on the basic interest rate.

In the assessment of financial market analysts, the pace of cuts in the Selic should be reduced from now on.

Given this context, some shares rose, such as Rede D’or, which rose more than 2.50%. The biggest losses were, for example, with Ultrapar, which saw a reduction of 6.34%.

The total volume traded on B3 was R$25.7 billion.
