Ibovespa ends trading session with a slight drop after instability
The Brazilian stock exchange index (Ibovespa) closed the last trading session at 130,340 points – a drop of 0.24%.
The domestic market is still awaiting the announcement of spending cutting measures by the federal government.
This Wednesday (6), the index lost the level of 130 thousand points, reaching a minimum of 128,849 points. The preliminary result was influenced by the announcement of Donald Trump’s victory in the US elections. But Ibovespa returned the gains at the end of the trading session.
The biggest increases of the day were due to the shares of WETZEL, 20.79%, and CEDRO, 13.73%. The biggest falls were due to the shares of BRASKEM, 16.31, and NORDON, 6.72%.
The traded volume was R$24.455 million.
