INDICATORS: fat ox prices drop this Friday (26)

The quotation of the arroba of the fat cattle started on Friday (26) with a drop of 0.56% in the price and the product is negotiated at R$ 258.83 in the state of São Paulo. The drop in price follows the trend observed throughout the month of May.

The moving average, that is, the last five aggregate indicators of the live cattle at arroba also showed a decrease, which signals a possible decrease in the value for the coming weeks, according to the trend presented.

In the financial market, the fat ox arroba is priced at R$255.85, down 0.56% compared to the previous day.

The price of a kilo of frozen chicken has dropped and is sold at R$ 6.30. The price of a kilo of chilled chicken also fell by 0.31% and the product is sold at R$ 6.42 in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.

The price of special pork carcass has remained stable and the product is sold at R$9.60 in wholesale in Greater São Paulo. With regard to live hogs, in the states, there was also stability in the majority and a drop in value in Minas Gerais and Paraná, by -1.24% and -0.50%, respectively. In Minas Gerais, live pigs sell for R$6.38. In Paraná, the product is sold at R$ 5.98. In Santa Catarina, at R$5.80; in Rio Grande do Sul at R$6.18; and in São Paulo at R$6.46.
