INDICATORS: fat ox registers a drop in price this Wednesday (31)

The price of arroba of fat cattle started on Wednesday (31) with a 5.90% drop in price and the product is traded at R$ 244.58 in the state of São Paulo. The fall in price this Wednesday follows the downward trend observed in the arroba in the month of May.

In the financial market, the fat ox arroba follows the downward trend and is quoted at R$241.75, also down 5.90% compared to the previous day.

The moving average, that is, the last five aggregated indicators of the live cattle arroba, follows the downward trend of the entire month, which reinforces that prices may fall or remain stable for the next few days.

The price of a kilo of frozen chicken also fell and is sold at R$ 6.18. The price of a kilo of chilled chicken dropped and the product is sold at R$ 6.17 in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.

The price of the special pork carcass fell 3.21% and the product is sold at R$ 8.74, wholesale in Greater São Paulo. With regard to live pigs, in the states, there was also a significant drop in value, at levels of -1.55% and -3.63%. In Minas Gerais, live pigs sell for R$5.96. In Paraná, the product is sold at R$ 5.52. In Santa Catarina, at R$5.31; in Rio Grande do Sul at R$5.70; and in São Paulo at R$5.89.
