INDICATORS: Fatty cattle register a drop in price this Monday (10)

The price of the live cattle arroba started on Monday (10) with a drop of 0.42%. The product is traded at R$ 258.98 in the state of São Paulo. In the financial market, the fat cattle arroba also fell, the drop was 0.41%, and the quotation is R$256.25.

The moving average, that is, the last five aggregated indicators of the live cattle arroba, follows the upward trend of the entire month, which reinforces that prices may rise or remain stable for the next few days.

The price of a kilo of frozen chicken rose by 0.34%. The product is sold at R$5.84. The price of a kilo of chilled chicken has already decreased. The drop was 0.70% and the merchandise is traded at R$5.66 in Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.

The price of the special pork carcass rose by 0.73% and the product is sold at R$ 9.67, wholesale in Greater São Paulo. With regard to live hogs, in the states there was price stability or a slight increase. In Minas Gerais, live pigs sell for R$6.92. In Paraná, the product is sold at R$ 6.09. In Santa Catarina, at R$6.06; in Rio Grande do Sul at R$6.14; and in São Paulo at R$6.52.
