Live pig market is booming
Live pig prices are on the rise early this Friday (9). According to researchers at Cepea/USP, the market is buoyant and sales are on the rise. The kilo is being traded at R$8.01 in Minas Gerais, R$7.75 in Paraná and R$7.20 in Rio Grande do Sul. Special pork carcasses cost R$11.95 in São Paulo, also on the rise.
The price of beef cattle started the day high and the arroba costs R$231.20 in São Paulo. The kilos of frozen and chilled chicken are stable, at R$7.10 and R$7.35, in the reference regions of Greater São Paulo, São José do Rio Preto and Descalvado.
