Minimum prices for coffee and oranges are readjusted by the government

This week, the National Monetary Council (CMN) approved the readjustments for the minimum prices of fresh oranges and Arabica and Conilon coffees for the 2023/2024 harvest.

Minimum prices were regionalized for oranges, with emphasis on Rio Grande do Sul. The measure was taken because of the differential of the Rio Grande do Sul production system.

The approved orange prices are R$ 20.53/40.8 kg for Rio Grande do Sul and R$ 22.72/40.8 kg for other locations.
