Pará: state once again achieves all fiscal indicator targets for the first four months of 2023
According to the Fiscal Responsibility Law, every four months the state must present the revenues and expenses incurred in the period, with the partial results of the fiscal targets.
Economist Alexandre Arci stated that despite the drop in revenues in Pará, the state knew how to stand out and maintain the balance of its accounts.
“There was again a surplus where the net current revenue exceeded R$34 billion. Something very important within the state is that despite the drop in revenues, they managed to maintain a balance in their public accounts. This strongly favors the population itself. The money of each state has to be well spent investing directly in its population so that, in addition to education, transportation and security, we all have the right to a dignified life in Brazil”, he highlighted.
In comparison with the same period of 2022, in the first four months of 2023, Pará had a decrease in its own revenues, due to the enactment of Complementary Laws nº 192/2022 and nº 194/2022. But in the first four months alone, the state has already invested 13.17% of revenue in health and 24.22% in education, totaling R$ 3.829 billion.
