Petrobras maintains competitive pricing practices

The company said it had not received any proposal from the Ministry of Mines and Energy regarding the change in its pricing policy. “Any proposals to change the pricing policy received from the controlling shareholder will be communicated to the market in due course and conducted by the company’s usual internal governance mechanisms”, indicates the note.

Petrobras also clarified that product price adjustments are normally carried out in its businesses, given the continuous monitoring of the markets. Among other variables, this monitoring includes the daily analysis of the company’s price behavior in relation to international quotations and its market share (market share). (Alana Gandra)
