PIS/Pasep: R3.4 million in salary bonuses have not yet been withdrawn
The next batch of the PIS/Pasep 2024 salary bonus (base year 2022), with a value of up to one minimum wage (R$ 1,412) must be paid by the Ministry of Labor by September 15. However, the ministry reported that, as of Monday (9), 723,687 workers had not yet withdrawn the benefit related to the batch paid in August. With this, the amount pending withdrawal reaches R$ 283,464,740.00.

According to the ministry, the allowance will be available for workers to withdraw from Caixa and Banco do Brasil financial institutions until the end of the deadline set out in the calendar, on December 27.

The amounts are intended for private sector workers, via PIS, and for public servants, via Pasep. The amounts for the categories vary between R$118.00 and R$1,412.00, taking into account the number of months worked throughout the base year 2022.
