Financial consultant and educator Jônatas Bueno advises consumers, who are looking for gifts for Valentine’s Day, to think first about the budget and then about what can be done with that amount so as not to weigh on their pockets and end up going into debt.
“When we think about giving gifts, we have to be aware of the budget. The budget we have to understand what is the money available, how much I am willing to spend. The ideal is that the person does not get into debt, does not make installments out of sight. If you can buy it in cash, it is the best option, but if that is not possible, the person could go a minimum of times so that it does not weigh on the budget for a long time”, he evaluates.
The survey was carried out between May 30 and June 5 by the National Confederation of Shopkeepers (CNDL) and released last Wednesday by Procon Goiás.
