Survey shows corn prices continue to rise
At the last closing price, a 60-kilo bag of corn cost R$59.15 in Campinas (SP). Surveys by Cepea/USP show that prices continue to rise in the Brazilian market, due to the lower supply from sellers and the dollar’s appreciation against the real.
White crystal sugar prices also fell at the last closing price in the city of São Paulo (SP), where the price of a 50-kilo bag is R$132.70. In Santos, the price is R$130.20.
The prices of 60-kilo bags of Arabica and Robusta coffees have fallen, with Arabica coffee costing R$1,413.60 and Robusta, R$1,260.10.
